So I google image 'artemka' next and there I am but above a really odd quote I didn't recognise - so I follow it back to a high ranking member's profile and sure enough there's my pic and a really nice mention

The weather people had told us what to expect, so we barrelled up to Worthy Farm wearing wet suits and wellies - I thought we would look odd but there were others looking even weirder.
We had just arranged a plan if anyone asked us about drugs, rather than just say "no thanks" and then have to avoid the hard sell, we were going to say "we have our own thanks". Very clever, except the first person to ask me if I had any drugs was a policeman ! Figured it wasn't a good idea to use our "we have our own" answer all I could do was giggle.

The Hari Chrisna people were really nice. One guy kept giving me little books, I didn't have the heart to tell him that his tent was only popular because they were giving out free food and hot drinks.
There was a man selling wellies for £20 EACH to save money a lot of good folk were buying one and hopping - honestly !
There was a sea of tents and, I think, 170,000 people over 600 acres. I had to go to the lost people's place twice to find the others who had lost me *blush*. I don't remember sleeping much cause the rain was coming down in lumps. We stayed up most nights watching people stagger by and playing the "drunk, stoned or both" guessing game.
We had had the sense to park the tent on a slope, not usually a good move but it was an awesome idea in the flooding. A lot of people in the puddle left their tents behind -there was a charity there who takes the tents down when they're dry, washes them and sends them out to needy people somewhere.
I had to come back a day early but as I wasn' paying for the tickets (in fact I don't think anyone paid for our tickets) so I couldn't complain :)
I spent the weekend at Glastonbury with my boss, his wife, daughter and two of my friends - don't know where he got the tickets from but I wasn't going to ask.
It was really awesome, I'll write a full account tomorrow for you. I was given some food by the hare Krishna people and got really really muddy [here's a pic I stole from a news site]
Anyhow I am sort of cleanish now and got to go clog up the washer with my clothes ... catch y'all later :)
Reading through my most favourite journals and that had me scurry over to the Polls - I don't visit there often.
I once suggested a poll on Duct Tape or Duck Tape - it was turned down, quite properly, with the message "this has nothing to do with vampires .. nothing!" That reply is seared into my very soul ... well, OK, I remember it
Now we have polls on the Fantastic 4, Criss Angel, Last Day on earth, Batman, fave bands, lead singers, illegal immigrants (and I thought that was politics and a no no), Star wars
Managed to sneak in, deal with my mail - rate the whelps and look over the House forum, now I'm just killing time until me ride arrives to get me to our swim meet - its a biggie ... (dunno why I was invited)
Yesterday, I spent an age offline because of the thunder storms. They seemed to pass so I cam in and added a bunch to the database, rated etc ... just settling down to an evening on the forums when the power went phut !!! Just my luck huh
Still I finished pond cleaning, came home - washed his car, weeded the garden (sort of) - he knew what I meant :)
We're all out for a meal tonight = awesome, food without the washing up ....
Party yesterday was a bore, too much music couldn't hear yourself think ... every time we went outside to give our ears a break, she came outside to herd us all in ... she was wearing I dunno what you would call it but it made her look really stupid and she was smoking, I think she was trying to look 'mature' instead she looked like a fake leather ashtray. In the end we walked home, we couldn't wait around for our rides ... oh well
Went out today cleaning a pond, its the second day of something we started last week.
Last week I had lifted a sewer cover in the lane outside and propped it up a little with a brick, then I sort of draped the outlet hose sneakily over the wall and pumped the gloop straight into the sewer.
I was all set to the same today to find there was the village fete all up the lane. I had a sneaky suspicion that they didn't want a stream of foul smelling gloop oozing into the middle, so I had to pump it into the trailer tank which is one more chore when we get back ... oh well such is life at the bottom
Had a good look round the fete and bought a hot dog - pond was all but finished when I left that impressed the boss no end :)
Not a lot else happening here ... party tonight but its set to end at 10pm, when you see that you just know its going to suck, but its better than the bus shelter :)
Tsk had another one this morning, they rate everyone what they were rated - not even thinking that they have probably improved their profile since it was first rated. I presume they think people will rush back and up their rating.
So they've rated you not on what your profile is worth but on what their profile was worth!
This is a terrible thing to do in my book, you can't do anything right in response - if you go back and rerate an improved profile they will assume that their scare tactics are working and do it to other people - if you go back and rate them with a Sire's 1 [ouch, that's worth 28 whelp's 1's] you're stooping to their level.
Luckily for them I still have some integrity and rate as thgeir profile deserves - I might soon have to stop being so nice.
phew - got my new Hard Drive and scuzzy thing - loaded in most of the software and the backups, think I just about done it all now
Started on VR at 4:30pm, six hours later I've caught up with all but my House message board - 600 profiles and 200 portfolios !!! that's a lot of rating
Strange when I called in I saw 5 entries in the database queue, one from a housemate of mine - I get in today and find them all still there waiting for me, except the queue has grown to 19 suggestions - but the one from my housemate has vanished - I've checked the whole database and nothing has been added in the two weeks I've been missing - its that darned black hole again.
Anyhow I'm all up to date on the database again, I've done my editing on the House's Adopt A Whelp page.
Oh well ... *hippity hop*
Off to the House forums while I can still stay awake
I've managed to borrow an hour on the net from a friend, its a pain but at least I got my VR fix
Hopefully my own PC will be out of the shop by the end of next week, I see there's a small queue in the procurator line and a bunch of profiles and portfolios to rate
A lot of people asked me nicely to re-rate them, no problem - all done
One strange person actually says that she's returning all rates on her portfolio with a 5 rate on the rater's profile ... go figure
Anyhow I'm kinda overstaying my welcome here so I had best sign off.
